I enjoy networking and promoting our business to new clients both face to face and over the telephone. Keeping in touch with current clients as well to make sure I know their business so when it comes to their next vacancy I can keep the high standards in customer service they except.       Nottingham, United Kingdom I started at the Nottingham Post as an Administrator. I would input recruitment adverts on to the system to then be advertised online. After a few months in the role I decided I would be more suited to the sales side and applied for a telephone sales role. I really missed the customer interaction & was thrilled to take the role when I was offered it. After a few months in the role I decided I would be more suited to the sales side and applied for a telephone sales role. I really missed the customer interaction & was thrilled to take the role when I was offered it. In the telephone sales role I mainly looked after Estate Agents & Letting Agents - Selling the advertising space, putting together their adverts with the studio & proofing their adverts back to them for approval. I developed strong relationships with my clients over the years. The publications I worked on were daily, weekly & monthly. I enjoyed the contact with my clients. Watching them grow & evolve from lots of boxes on a page to brand advertising as the online property portals began to grow. This was an ever changing environment & I enjoyed the challenges it brought. I progressed into a Fields sales role this really helped to grow my skills base & by seeing a clients business & the day to day workings first hand it really worked wonders to help them even more & come up with suggestions for them to market themselves. Showing the how to stand out from their competitors by giving them different options to work with. This helped when I moved on to the retail section where I was working with a much more diverse client base. One of my strongest skills is being able to talk to people from all levels & backgrounds. This certainly help within this sector. During my time at The Nottingham Post I would speak to people from Landlords with one property to long standing multi branch Estate Agents. It was a fast paced environment working with a wide variety of publications with daily deadlines & monthly targets to work towards.
