For more than 100 years, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland has provided temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned and relinquished animals, and placed as many as possible into responsible and caring homes. Working here allows me to feel uncompromised pride about how I spend the majority of my waking hours. I am honored to work for an organization who truly puts the lives of every animal in it's care as first and foremost importance. Our team of care providers and administrators is second to none in effectively giving our pets and the adopters who love them the best possible adoption experience and lives together. I am the finance administrator for this $3 mil + organization, responsible for budget development, financial reporting, investments record keeping, payables/receivable, payroll, audit preparation, and all other accounting responsibilities.
