Joanne was a fabulous employee, coworker, and connection through several of the companies we've both worked at. Her passion for people and customer service are what truly stood out to me in my time being one of her managers, and it was inspiring to watch. She has a patience and a warm heartedness that you don't often find in sales. Clients and coworkers alike, gravitate toward Joanne as a resource due to her many years in the industry and her love of design. She would go out of her way on her days off to visit clients home to make sure they were thrilled with their new pieces, or if they needed help figuring out their space and were ready for new pieces! Her thought process was also evident, as I've personally seen her spend hours with clients who needed extra hand holding, and a real guide from the beginning to the end of the entire sales and design experience. Overall, Joanne is an excellent, compassionate, kind and intelligent coworker, who I'd be thrilled to have on any of my sales teams.

I’m a client of Jo-Anne Lucas. I recently had the pleasure of working with her on a design project for my home in southern Maine. I was referred to her by a mutual friend. I contacted Jo-Anne in late spring. The project had a fairly quick deadline, as I was trying to get results before hosting a family reunion this summer. I was concerned about using an interior designer because this was not a big renovation or major design overhaul. I was just looking to modernize a few rooms, and I didn’t know if a designer would want to take on such a small project. As soon as I contacted Jo-Anne, she engaged immediately. She visited my home and instantly had some great ideas. Within a few days, she sent me pictures of furniture, rugs, etc. that fit my taste and budget. Her approach was very professional–including a slide deck that incorporated pictures of my current rooms next to the new furniture so I could readily envision the final product. Jo-Anne even spent a day shopping with me so we could see the suggested items in person. Part of the design changes included reupholstering some bar stools and a couch. Jo-Anne went to the upholsterer to get samples and met me there to make final decisions and work out the details with the gentleman doing the work. I’m thrilled with the results!! Jo-Anne found a way to modify my color scheme to something lighter and fresher and add some new furniture—while retaining some of the existing elements I wanted to keep, including family mementos. She also taught me a lot along the way that will help me make better decisions going forward. I would highly recommend Jo-Anne to anyone looking for an interior decorator—whether you’re doing a big or small job!

22 years ago when I came home from Houston Texas, I worked for Circle Furniture. Due to travel and my family, I needed to find a job closer to home. Flash forward and tremendous growth in the home furnishings field, I realized that I am most at home working one on one with design clients and selling quality home furnishings that believe in sustainability. My personal dream has always to live on the seacoast of New England and work close to home....enter Circle Furniture! While I am currently with the Middleton, MA showroom, this late spring, I will be in the Brand New, PORTSMOUTH, NH showroom!!!! Portsmouth is my dream city (I like to refer to it as the Paris of New Hampshire). There are exciting new things happening which will allow me to return to my design roots an help New Hampshire and Southern Maine residents create beautiful spaces. And, sustainability, New Hampshire and Maine, don't they just naturally go hand in hand?? #circlefurniture, #sustainability, #northernnewengland Show less

When people describe what I do, they say "Salesperson"...I would rather they say "Teacher". I love helping and teaching people how to transform their house into a home. Currently, I am focused on Jordan's Furniture but if you do need assistance with color advice, surface advice for the kitchen and bathroom, please reach out. My idols: Mario Buatta, Bunny Williams, Mark and Alexa Hampton (it has also taken me a long time to admit that I am about traditional design), and Sister Parish... Show less

Well it took me 30 years of a very curvy road of furniture and interior design but I made it. I am so excited to announce that I am a member of the J-Team for their brand new store in South Portland Maine! I worked for Bassett Home Furnishings twice in Burlington. I had great experience with customers and hoped that Bassett was my retirement job. Sadly, the second time I returned to Bassett, corporate decided to condense down the New England region and closed Burlington in 2020. I worked for Bassett Home Furnishings twice in Burlington. Around 9 years ago, I had to leave a job I loved to pursue a dream of mine. My dream to live in Northern New England...I loved living in Northern New England but stumbled on the career path "finding myself". Flash forward 9 years later, I read an article. Could it be possible that I could have both? Today, thankfully and gratefully, I have returned to one of my favorite companies and living in one of my favorite states, I work at the first out of state Boston Interiors in Bedford, NH! As a design consultant, I can help the client with their entire home furnishing and window treatment needs. Our home design service is complimentary. I personally find that going to the home helps ease the nerves of the customer making decorating mistakes. During these tough economic times, that is extremely important.
