Working with K-12 schools in Montclair, Newark and throughout New Jersey via NJ Department of Health grant, to guide their systemic implementation of Centers for Disease Control's Whole School Whole Child Whole Community (WSCC) framework. WSCC model includes ten health facets with emphasis on nutrition, physical education, mental health, staff wellness and parent/community involvement. WSCC's goal is to demonstrate and enhance the link between health and academic achievement. Founder and Director of this seventeen-year-old community partnership that brings together the Montclair community, health organizations, school district, parents/caretakers and students to make health a priority in the lives of Montclair public school families and students. The Partnership is based upon the Centers for Disease Control Whole School Whole Child Whole Community framework. It is the recipient of the NJ Association of Partners in Education (NJAPIE) and the NJ Association of School Administrators (NJASA) Exemplary Partnership Program Award for its work in Montclair schools and community.
