Teaching biology to high school students on Thorax Ab:s prep courses for students preparing for the entrance exam to the faculty of medicine or matriculation exams. Besides teaching and preparing for lectures, the job also includes making test questions, correction of tests and updating the hand-out material before each course. I have now successfully finished my first two courses, with positive feedback on both. When asked to grade my lectures on a scale from 0 to 5, the students gave me an average of 4.3.

During summer of 2022 I started my position as a waitress at Haukilahden Helmi, and am happy to be continuing part-time during the scholar year, too. This is my first restaurant job and I have learned a lot this summer and also progressively been given more responsibility during my shifts, which keeps me motivated. I enjoy the fast pace of it all, and the team work. I've been able to further develop my customer service skills from earlier positions, and learn new skills such as bartending and waiting a la carte tables.
