In my lab we are interested in utilizing biomaterials to improve current or develop new treatment options for human disease. Our latest efforts are directed at improving therapies for autoimmune cholestatic liver disorders.- Currently, we are investigating physically or chemically incoporating anti-fibrotic drugs into polymeric nanofiber scaffolds - We designed and built a 3-axis electrospinning apparatus for fabrication of patterened polymeric nanofiber scaffolds by modifying an FDM 3D printer- In collaboration with GI specialists from Navicent Medical Center we are working to build better in vitro testing systems for biliary stents Show less
