Not only was I a lead opportunity owner in the sales team, but I was also a key member of the marketing department: taking responsibility for tasks ranging from creating the new company website, to writing professional press releases.A series of internal secondments granted me comprehensive experience in both project management and the commercial and finance department - giving me a crucial understanding of what sales can do to ensure a project runs smoothly, and the contract terms that make up a sale. Through my eagerness to learn and get involved in a range of roles, I also acted as bid manager and account manager for a number of opportunities and customers.Having completed the two year scheme in just over 18 months, sales and account management stood out to me as my real passion. As a natural 'people person', I thrive off the opportunity to meet, get to know, and, ultimately, help people to improve their business and working lives.
