EA to CEO/Chair
-
Jan 2006 - Jul 2007
ASADA is Australia’s national anti-doping organisation established in 2006 by the Australian Government. The role of ASADI is to develop a sporting culture in Australia that is free of doping, and where an athlete’s performance is purely dependent on talent, determination, courage and honesty. This was a unique role as the CEO/Chair positions were held by the same person which involved needing to keep information for each office separate. The level of confidentiality in this role was extreme due to the sensitivity of drug test results. Achievements include: • Collaborating with managers to provide stability as the strategic direction and responsibilities of ASADA changed dramatically. • Providing secretariat support for the Board and Audit Committee including collation of confidential legal papers.
