      I do a wide variety of tasks at this job, I can say I’m always swamped. Good thing I’m good at multi-tasking! At first my job was front office where I greeted patients, checked them in, took payments, helped the elderly or disabled, answered calls, scheduled patients, left messages for missed appointments, cleaned the front office, and translated to all Spanish speaking patients, creating and organizing files, inputting their paperwork, data, and Digital X-Rays into our system. Within a week I was promoted to Financial Consultant and Chiropractic Assistant where I worked o most of the data entry and patient management as well as New Patient Intake. Which Included but not limited to working on their consultations, assisting the doctor on evaluations, examinations, and X-Rays. I also go over their diagnosis with the doctor and explain it to them thereafter. As well as help them with financial and treatment plans, A lot of people have complimented the way I present myself, what we do, as well as the office. I also keep track of all of our patients on plans, their financial status, check insurances through ashlink, keep track of payments and balances, schedule them and keep track of their treatment schedules, re-examinations, and missed appointments. Also assist the doctor on any Med-Legal Panel QME’s, workers comp. cases, personal injury evaluations, as well as the reports and diagnosis codes, where I proof read them, bill them, and prep them for mail or fax. Calling insurance carriers, lawyers, and clients/patients, to keep up with the status on the cases and when needed for collection. Occasionally helped the doctor with lectures and our marketing coordinator with ideas to get new patients as well as little tasks like creating graphic designs and layouts for marketing like pamphlets, flyers, labels, anything to promote the office.
