  Following 18 years of a nursing career, I decided to start a home-based business with the Longaberger Company. I was fortunate to enter this business just as they were starting to see major growth in their popularity and product lines. I quickly became a top seller, which I found came naturally to me. Before long, I had recruited other sales people to form my own branch of sales associates, training and supporting them in their sales goals. I enjoyed a 20-year span with this company. In 1998, I was hired by the Huckle Media Company to work as an advertising consultant. I worked at the Faribault Daily News for over 10 years, then was transferred to a sister publication, the Northfield News in 2009. I have enjoyed working in my home town for the past 6 years, and am pleased to be part of a media company that keeps itself on the cutting edge of a rapidly changing environment. Show less
