Joachim is not only a talented writer, but has incredible aptitude as a leader. I was fortunate to have him as my supervisor for almost a year in the communications team at Sustainia. When discussing ideas for projects and blog posts, Joachim always amazed me with the creativity of his ideas and ability to create engaging content on the topic of sustainability. Joachim was always mindful of others in the team, and brought a positive attitude that lifted our spirits. I always left our meetings feeling inspired, encouraged, and empowered. His natural ability as a leader and diligence in his craft has earned my admiration, and I think anyone would be lucky to have him leading their team.

Throughout his time at Sustainia, Joachim has been an invaluable resource. He has helped shape Sustainia’s brand as a leading agenda-setting sustainability agency, and he has helped build Sustainia’s impressive online community of over 70,000 sustainability enthusiasts. As a communications lead on some of our biggest projects such as Sustainia100, Cities100 and the Global Opportunity Reports, Joachim has always delivered great results thanks to his professionalism, high level of creativity and great sense of planning. He is a gifted writer which he has demonstrated in numerous OpEds, blogs, speeches etc., a dedicated and trustworthy team lead, and a joyful guy to be around. You will find few other people than Joachim with such a thorough understanding of how to communicate sustainability issues and make it a global agenda for businesses, citizens and governments alike. I give him my warmest recommendation.
