  Equine therapy is using horses to help people with emotional wellbeing and growth and learning. Equine therapy is "on the ground activities set up in an arena with a horse or horses". There is No Riding invlved or required for participation in equine therapy. Equine therapy is an experiential type therapy with in the moment learning and discovery aided by the nature of horses and there inapt ability to read all non verbal communication including intent and emotions. Clients need to therefore make life long changes, as horses don't respond to talking about change. Show less
