  As Newbury Locality Manager I am responsible for promoting health and social care integration and partnership approaches to improving health and wellbeing outcomes through the development of Primary Care Networks in West Berkshire. In this role much of the focus has been on the covid pandemic response. In the early stages of the pandemic (March 2020) I led a project team of 13 practices to design a primary care covid assessment service including care pathway, site facilities and workforce sharing arrangements. I have also provided a significant amount of support to the covid vaccination programme including set up and management of a vaccination centre at Newbury Racecourse and a partnership-led approach to reducing inequity in covid vaccination take-up in West Berkshire through a data and community engagement informed methodology.I also deliver projects with Primary Care Networks including joint workforce training.

  In this role I designed, implemented and operationally managed a local covid vaccination service which brought together nine practices in West Berkshire to run a joint vaccination centre at Newbury Racecourse resulting in over 66,000 vaccinations administered.
