Working for Magazine London, part of Broadwick Live as an events Venue Operation Manager. I lead on ensuring the smooth handover of events from the sales to the operations team. Leading on all logistical and operational planning on allocated events and filming to ensure successful delivery. In this role I have worked on all scales and types of events from Music, Awards, Streaming, Exhibitions and Corporate Festival ranging from 400 - 4,500 capacity. Joining the Science Museum events team in 2018, I directed event logistics as the primary point of contact for major clients and agencies, often tasked with handling multiple projects at a time, including the most complex events for the museum’s primary commercial and government customers. In this role I have organised events in our 15 unique gallery spaces including film premieres in our IMAX, awards ceremonies in Making the Modern World and product launches in Wonderlab: The Equinor Gallery. I have also been part of the team during the construction to opening of Illuminate, a blank canvas event space across Levels 4 & 5 of the museum. When I first joined Crown Golf, the UK’s largest owner operator golf group, I was given full autonomous leadership of the events strategy at Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club, and grew it rapidly, with up to 100 events a year, each attended by up to 250 people. In this solo role, I was accountable for all aspects of the full lifecycle of each event, from marketing through client sales, on to planning and then delivery. This meant non-stop action during intensively busy periods; with 16 Christmas parties a year, for example.
