I met Jo whilst attending the I.O.D. courses for Certificate and Diploma in Company Directorship. It was clear from the outset that Jo is a highly intelligent Woman who has the ability to quickly take on complex information and through experiential knowledge to apply pragmatic solutions to the problems presented. Jo also has a wicked sense of humour and utilises this appropriately to make people feel at ease and therefore obtain the best for all whilst maintaining a completely professional approach to business in hand. As part of an Inter-Company exchange visit it was clear that Jo whilst working in predominantly male engineering environment has gained a high degree of respect from all levels within her organisation. The fact that Jo has now progressed to Board Level and a more Commercial role whilst retaining her previous HR and H&S functions is testament to her capabilities. If I was setting up a team I would have no hesitation in having Jo as part of this. I cannot recommend Jo highly enough as an extremely capable and professional individual.
