I've worked with Jo as our social media *queen* for the last three Women in Tech SEO Festivals that took place, two in-person and one virtual. I first met Jo through her work with BrightonSEO and I knew immediately that I wanted to have her as part of my festival's crew. I needed someone I could trust to own our social media channels, specifically Twitter, on the event day. Jo asks all the right questions beforehand, requesting access to our designs, agenda, speaker's profile and more, so that she can have everything ready for the day. On the day, Jo is extremely thorough and takes lots of requests on the fly. What surprised me most about Jo is that even though she doesn't run our social media channel all year long, currently only during our festivals, she still manages to get our tone of voice perfectly! She also has a gift in engaging with our online community. She understands our brand values and how we come across on social media and impersonates that perfectly via our social media channels. I can't imagine running a festival without having Jo on our crew running our social media accounts. I highly recommend working with her and I look forward to working on lots more projects with her in the future.

Jo was brought in to help London Met Students' Union in the midst of a union overhaul and a global pandemic. Several members of staff were missing from our staffing structure but we still needed to communicate messages out to our members, keep our website functioning and designed and be available to organise a number of virtual welcome events. Jo did all of this fantastically well and also made time to be part of our team meetings so that, if only briefly, she was part of the London Met SU team. Separate to all this Jo, is just a really good egg who has an immensely positive approach to her work, makes everyone feel able to contribute even when she is clearly the most knowledgeable person in the room and gave me recommendations on where to get good brownies as well as the occasional cat appearance thanks to the joy of home working. Hire Jo for anything marketing and comms related that you can think of, you won't regret it, I can't recommend her highly enough. #queenofusefulworktools

I had previously met Jo when she ran some comms training at our SU (which was amazing) so when I saw she was doing 1:1 sessions at the Students Opportunities festival I knew I wanted a session! At the time I was just about to leave sabbatical officer life and feeling quite nervous, after half an hour with Jo I felt a lot calmer about everything and confident that things always have a way of working out when you’re determined! Jo’s expertise and advice was so helpful, and it was such a lovely session with lots of laughs too. Both times I have spent time with Jo she has brightened my day and left my feeling inspired to go out and do great things, her energy is infectious!
