During the three years I was responsible of the technological activities of the company I built and lead a technical team of several specialists that developed a full smart card operating system. This security-oriented operating system was developed from scratch completely in-house. It was oriented towards a electronic signature application which took advantage of NXP SmartMX silicon cryptographic abilities to build an application compliant with European standard EN 14169. Its design met smart card operating system state of art and new trends on smart card technology, and included several innovations. Additionally, we certified its security under the Common Criteria framework in collaboration with the evaluation laboratory APPLUS+. Finally we designed a new smart card middleware that overcomes usability problems frequently found in equivalent products. At this stage - once main technological pillars were set - I left the project in the seek of new challenges. Show less
