I first met Jon when he interviewed at H+L Architecture. I then worked with Jon weekly, as he took over leading our Project Advisory Leadership team. He brought practical and creative approaches to revamping our office Quality Management process and Leadership Teams. Soon Jon was pulled into project work doing concept design and guiding teams needing design assistance. He paved the way for early energy modeling using Sefaira software at H+L, showing our teams the benefits, and limits, it offers. More recently Jon, another colleague and I worked on a small net zero energy project together for Colorado Mountain College. Here I saw Jon excel at research, problem solving, and consultant and client communications. Jon is one of the most well-rounded architects I have had the pleasure of working with in my 30 years in practice. He's talented designer and deep thinker who's passionate about our profession.
