I met Jenny when I was recruiting for a UX instructor in my time with RED Academy. After speaking with her I instantly recognized that she had quite a lot of talent as an interaction designer, a very interesting start up background, and a great overall attitude (all of which were vital for the role). Since she joined RED's team in September of 2016, she truly impressed me. Jenny was coming from a background where she hadn't done much public speaking and jumped head first into a role where she would be leading classes of up to 20 people. As anyone would have to go through with that big of a change, there was obviously a lot of learning and growth that would need to come from within her for her to be able to succeed. I was happy to see her champion through her first few weeks at RED and Jenny has now grown into an extremely confident leader, coach, and mentor for students starting their UX careers from scratch. The growth that Jenny has shown as both a UX designer and also as a teammate and coach make it very easy to recommend her. I am very happy that I got to work with her within RED's tight knit family. She would make a fantastic addition to any team looking for her expertise and I hope one day our professional careers can cross paths once again!
