I have worked with Jamie across two businesses - GetSmarter and JEFF. While I was involved in recruiting Jamie for GetSmarter, I had more direct experience of his work at JEFF where he reported directly to me. Jamie is able to blend his passion for design and technology with his understanding of people to play unique roles in bringing projects to life quickly and effectively. The list of JEFF projects below is testament to his broad set of capabilities: 1. Designed the first comprehensive web app to enable the launch of JEFF Life in the web app. 2. Coordinated with Vitality stakeholders to launch earning Vitality points in the web app. 3. Created and managed a sprint pipeline of web app product development; including requirements, mockups, feedback, development, testing, launch, and announcements. 4. Led a 3-month web app redesign project to enable the launch of JEFF Club as a new subscription product line. 5. Coordinated the design of the new funnel checkout and account creation process. 6. Wrote the copy of emails to announce product launches. 7. Played a cross-functional leadership role within the leadership team to coordinate the conceptualisation and execution of various feature launches and product releases. 8. Coordinated the design, product readiness and staff training for the Zone Fitness + web app to launch the gym chain’s first digital fitness offering. What I value most about Jamie is his ability to take half-formed briefs, ask the right questions, self direct and deliver well. He has been an invaluable team member at JEFF and I am cheering him on from the sidelines as he takes his career to even greater heights.

Jamie is one of these rare individuals that sits comfortably between tech and business. I would highly recommend Jamie in any position that involves dealing with business stakeholders to obtain requirements, briefing and managing technical resources (developers) and/or developing digital products and user experiences. He is creative, analytical, communicates clearly and is an excellent team player.
