  Jaan's House is an artist-centric hostel in West Nashville, offering touring artists a "home away from home" while on the road. In addition to lodging, the House has two rehearsal spaces, an off-site analog recording studio in 12 South, and a 100-cap backyard "venue" that is utilized for benefit shows, brand activations & pop-up performances by local & touring acts. Every show is tied to a non-profit organization in hopes of helping the community through music.Jaan’ House is an experiential artist-house unlike any other, setting the new standard for what most AirBnB’s and hotels cannot replicate: a paragon of artist-centric “Southern Hospitality”. We exist to nurture the livelihood of the touring artist, to foster the artist’s wellbeing, to respect their privacy in the highest regard. We aspire to facilitate a successful tour and strive to meet every one of their needs in order to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. By providing a home where artists can relax and decompress from their arduous journey, we encourage and enable them to perform to the best of their abilities on stage. Owner Jaan Cohan understands the lifestyle of a touring musician – he was one. Over the last decade, Jaan has toured extensively with an array of bands, experiencing firsthand what it means to be nomadic. He empathizes with the daily regimens, the irregular hours and the difficulty in maintaining a balanced life on the road. Off the road, he and his Nashville home have played host to countless bands, ranging from up-and-coming songwriters to world-renowned acts. Jaan’s House is his attempt at unifying Nashville with the artistic community from across the globe, promoting creativity, wellness and happiness on the road.
