Researched the complexity of certain types of computational problems, in particular, Constraint Satisfaction and Promise Constraint Satisfaction Problems. As part of this position I have:- Designed algorithms and investigated structural reasons why easier algorithms cannot exist;- Held and managed a personal research grant worth around €200 000;- Taught university courses based on my research. S2DS is a five-weeks long bootcamp proving training via projects with partner companies. As a participant of the bootcamp, I was working on a project with Epri in a five people team. The aim was to identify machine learning and signal decomposition methods with can be successfully used to analyse a time-series of the power output of a photovoltaic power plant. Such analysis is then going to be used to inform the choices made about the design and running of the power plant. As part of the program I have:- Attended lectures business strategy and economics;- Participated in regular business meetings with the partner company;- Built Neural Network model for time-series analysis;- Used time-series forecasting tools such as Prophet and Unobserved Component Analysis; - Worked online, collaborating with 4 other people with git.
