Data analysis and statistics of students’ progress using SAS, R and Python to enhance the graduation rate in the Engineering department. - Masters of Data Analytics capstone project mentor where communication was essential to be on the same page with the student and making sure their progress is on par with the expectations. - Data scientist in the SocialSim program. Investigating mis/disinformation and controversy in textual data from social networks using advanced natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques. Worked with SQL based and NoSQL databases to store and query the data. Our work on controversial posts got a press release. - All work done in during my time at University of Central Florida required extensive visualization for better conveying the results. I used a mix of Tableau, Power BI, R GGPLOT2, and Python MatPlotLib and SeaBorn for data visualization. - My dissertation is titled "IDENTIFICATION AND MODELING SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCE PATHWAYS: CHARACTERIZATION OF FLOODING-THE-ZONE DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN ON THE SKRIPAL CASE USING TRANSFER ENTROPY." This study aims to characterize the influence operations associated with the Flooding-The-Zone (FTZ) disinformation strategy. To achieve this, we employed node ranking algorithms and introduced a novel algorithm for ranking the most influential nodes and edges within the social network where the FTZ strategy is being implemented.
