This last employment really helped round out my capabilities to make me a valuable asset at any place of employment. While my main job description was a Veterinary Technician, I would make sure any and everything else in the hospital that needed doing, was done. That included cleaning, receptionist responsibilities, paperwork, organization, sterilization, etc. My main responsibilities were to care for our patients, keep things stocked, caring for boarders and other things to keep the hospital running smoothly. I am exceptionally proud of my achievements at this location; I was solely responsible for changing how many tasks were done to promote efficiency, ease and cost effectiveness. I reorganized documents on the computer, set up calendars and changed drawers and such for easy access and use of items. Anything to keep the flow of the hospital going at a smooth pace. Show less

I started as a Sales Associate and worked my way up to becoming a Dog Trainer. Once I finished my schooling to become a certified Trainer, I quickly became the Lead in my store and, soon after that, the Lead Dog Trainer in the area. Responsibilities included, but definitely were not limited to: Dog Training Responsibilities: scheduling classes and workshops securing an area and setting up for classes cleaning up after classes sales Customer Service ordering supplies advertising marketing General Responsibilities: Customer Service Sales Cashier Animal care and wellness Answering the phone General cleaning and upkeep Stocking Backstock Shipment unloading and stocking I learned a lot while working at this particular employment. It was a wonderful opportunity and helped branch my way into my future. I think the most valuable thing I learned was how to prioritize and organize my time efficiently and effectively for the betterment of the store and company. Show less

My employment with Rosetta Stone was very short lived, but indefinitely valuable. I had to part ways with the company only due to my interest in furthering my career possibilities with Petco, while I had little to no chance at growth with Rosetta stone. It was an unfortunate choice I had to make and, while I was only there shortly, I was sad to leave it behind. While working with this company I learned how to work as an independent part of a team. I was left alone for my shift, responsible for not only opening the kiosk, but caring for it, the product and the rest of the company information. Daily Responsibilities were as follows: Opening the kiosk on time Counting the cash box Opening the Company Operation System Software Logging the product in stock Making sure everything was operational before opening Sales Cleaning Customer Service Any and all paperwork that needed to be done assisting any one with any questions regarding the software It was definitely a wonderful experience.
