Previously part of the team behind Angel Island, in 2018 and 2019 I helped bring the world's most exclusive, yet inclusive unconference to life. This included sailing 12 tall ships, packing them with top-tier investors, entrepreneurs, and original thinkers, and bringing them to an abandoned fortress island near Amsterdam. The unconference encouraged attendees to break away from traditional conference norms with no nametags or keynotes. As a voluntary organization, we made the decision to end the event after two successful years and passed on our principles to future organizers. I was proud to be part of the team with 18 crew members and 500 guests from over 40 countries that made this unforgettable experience possible.
