Senior Resident - Gastro Intestinal, HPB and Transplant Surgery
-
Jul 2019 - Jun 2021
After having finished my M.S. in General Surgery at Amrita Institute, Kochi, I felt the need to improve my surgical skills and knowledge about Gastro intestinal surgery and HPB oncology. I found that there was no better way to do that other than working in that department, getting more hands on training and experience, working with some of the best surgeons in that field. My training here has largely been in the field of Hepato biliary and pancreatic oncology, GI surgery, Critical care and minimal access surgery. Show less

Fresh from my MBBS training, armed with the knowledge given to me by my professors at AIMS kochi, I joined KIMS to get an idea of corporate hospital functioning, basic patient care in such a setting and tackling with emergencies as a junior resident. My short course training here was in the field of Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, along with General surgery, and I knew then that a surgeon is what I wanted to be for the rest of my career.
