  As an assistant drill instructor, I had the duty of training and protecting recruits. My responsibility was to teach recruits about basic military training including soldier etiquette, firearm basics, survival strategies, and war tactics. I would lead instructional presentations for up to 800 new recruits weekly. As an assistant drill instructor, I coordinated the administration department. When the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea provided me with the identities and information of the recruits, I organized each platoon of recruits with Excel using functions like VLOOKUP prior to the recruits’ entry.
