・Main Research Project: Morphological study of drop impact using explainable artificial intelligence (XAI)This project aims to explore and pioneer the methodology of using XAI to extract and predict the important morphological features of the drop impact phenomenon. Through this project, it is expected to uncover previously unreported morphological features of an impacting drop and to perform accurate prediction. Besides, it is also expected to establish a reliable XAI method for scientific research.・AMED Research Project: Development of an Innovative Needle-Free Injection Technology using a Focused Jet.In this project, the physical mechanism related to the injection depth and stress induced by the jet into the tissue simulants will also be clarified. For prototyping, market surveys will be conducted and possible will be solved clinical issues through the discussion with medical professionals and manufacturers.・Sakigake Research Project: New Fluid Mechanics through knowing the ForceThis project aims to revolutionize the study of fluid mechanics by proposing a novel photoelastic method to measure the stress (force) field in fluids. The non-linearity of stress measurement will be tackled using a data-driven approach that combines machine learning and the automation of the proposed photoelastic stress measurement system. This project is expected to provide the fundamental understanding of complex flow and its transport phenomena, thus paving the way for their control.・Lecture: Seminar for Research IntroductionThis lecture aims to help 1st-year bachelor students to understand research life and possible career opportunities upon graduation. Through this program, the students have the opportunity to visit all research labs of our department and will be attached to one of the labs to perform a 7-week research program. Besides, they will also be given the opportunity to listen to the talk by our alumni and interact with them. Show less

      • Operations Management: I manage the operation of the conversational English classes for elementary and junior high school students in a cram school which has 5 branches at different locations in Tokyo, Japan. The teachers are part-timers who are university students.• Recruiting: Since the part-time teachers are university students, there is a consistent need for recruitment. This includes finding potential candidates, interviewing them, and accessing their trial classes.• Cross-cultural: The part-time teachers are from countries including Japan, the USA, Australia, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. Most of them do not speak much Japanese.
