  EP Tender provides rent service of range extenders for eletrical vehicles. It's a H2020 project supported by EU commission. The range extender, named as "Tender", composed of an energy source (thermal or electrical), charges the battery of VE when we are driving. For more information, please visit the web site www.eptender.comMy duty is to developer the software for our Tenders :1. Automatic attaching function of Tender. Use a embedded linux card to control 2 motored wheels of Tender. With a optical camera, the propose is to connect Tender with no human engaged.Used technology: Python, ROS, Apriltag, OpenCV2. Development of a Django web server that communicate with tracker via TCP/IP. The server collects all the log files sended by Tender and at the same time inserts into the database(AWS RDS).Used technology: Python, Django, MySQL3. Development of an Android application called TenderApp, which helps the users to customize the charge strategy, define itinerary, monitor the Tender status, etc. It connects with bluetooth, will alert the user when there is a abnormal( fuel level low, engine temperature high, etc.) The latest version has a virtual joystick which can control the Tender approaching the vehicle in mode manual or mode auto.Used technology: Android, Google APIs, Bluetooth Show less

  The electric vehicle market start growing these years. Advantages of the electric vehicle is uncountable: using clean energy, less noise… But the autonomy limits the user for a long travail. So nowadays, people always choose the electric vehicle as their second car for the daily life. This year, I did an internship in a start-up Ep Tender. This group provide a service to solve the autonomy problem, The Tender. Tender is a small trailer with a battery pack or an electric generator inside. It can charge vehicles in the journey. My mission was to achieve the Tender robotic. This system provided Tender to connect automatically a vehicle. We used a camera to read the 3D position of the April tag. A card Upboard, a mini-PC, will treat all the data and give a command to the motor through a motor controller. To control the tender, we can use a joystick or an application android. At the end of the internship, we succeed in most of the work and the rest of them, I will finish in the future. During these six months, I learnt lots of the knowledge and skills in the world of programming. And I had a clear view of the electric vehicle industry. Show less
