I worked with Jim for several years during his tenure at General Reinsurance. Jim was a diligent, smart executive who always followed through on his commitments. He was a tireless advocate for his clients and did whatever it took to ensure their needs were always satisfied. What put Jim over the top, however, was his "can do" attitude. No task was ever met with a defeated outlook. He was always up for a challenge and actually seemed at his best when working under pressure. All of these characteristics were excellent, but what I really liked best about my time working with Jim was that he brought "fun" into the workplace. It didn't matter if we were driving across rural Michigan in the sleet and snow on a Monday morning on our way to see a client...we were going to make it fun!
