Here I was tasked with duties such as lawn maintenance and setting up funeral accommodations. Working at Resthaven continued to teach me the values of hard work and seeing a project through to the end. Completing a landscaping project gives a sense of pride and joy when all of the hard work put in finally comes to fruition. • Jul 2016 - Oct 2017

I started as a cashier and was promoted to customer service assistant where I learned many valuable skills. My main role of helping customers taught me problem solving skills. I learned how to deal with disgruntled people, as well as those that just needed some guidance around the store. Being in charge of employee breaks taught me a lot about how to manage both time and employees as resources. Finally, my most important job of balancing the cash registers and safe taught me important lessons about accounting and tracking money.
