At Oceanit, I adapted government sponsored technology to consumer products. As part of a small, flexible innovation team within the company I brought projects from concept to first deliveries. My primary product was the wearable active cooling pack for runners, hikers, cyclists, and adventurers we called the Honu Pack. As part of this effort, we launched a spinoff brand called 19degreesn.com that sold over $30,000 worth of products in the first year and is now expanding into new markets.
