  - Naval service at various Installations and ships around the world serving in ever increasing positions of responsibility and complexity. Advanced from Airman E1 to Master Chief Petty Officer AFCM E-9. Retired after 28 + years in the United States Navy. - Known as the subject matter expert on gas turbine engines where I was in charge of the engine complete rebuild shop in the largest jet engine shop in the Navy. I was responsible for the training and mentoring of over 300 personnel in all areas of power plant engines including theory and principles of operation and maintenance both corrective and preventative. Comprehensively instructed all engine sections to include fan, compressor, combustion, turbine and exhaust . Areas of continued instruction included fuel, oil systems and analysis for wear metals, all pumps and controls, and electrical harnesses and wiring .
