I was connected with Jim by a colleague of mine, after I'd asked who I should talk to about improving my sales game. We talked for a bit and Jim immediately understood my mindset and goals. He has dramatically improved the fundamentals of my selling, specifically my ability to gather information and therein to actually forecast my deals. He continually reminds me to adapt and maintain a 'freedom within the framework.' I've seen him apply this magic with salespeople for banks, tech companies and physical products. The fundamentals are very similar for everyone! But having that foundation in place allows me to have my own style of selling software and still remain sharp.

I took a weeklong onsite course with Jim focused on the Sandler Training sales methodology. I was based in California and specifically went to Chicago to take the course with Jim on recommendation from a respected colleague. I will confess to feeling skeptical about the session being "just another sales training" but I was proven quite wrong. Jim really elevated the training to be targeted, germane to my business needs, and provided actionable guidance. The Sandler approach itself lends itself well to selling situations ranging from SMB to enterprise, but the most valuable aspect to me is that it transcends business - Sandler Training teaches broadly applicable general communication techniques. I worked in Sales for a long time and as of the time of this writing, have returned to more of an Engineering role, yet I find myself still using what I learned in Jim's class in everyday life whether it is negotiating a deal on a new car or just trying to get to the root of any discussion. I am a skeptic who became a believer in leveraging Sandler Training thanks to Jim and highly recommend his services.
