I recently had an opportunity to work with Dr. Jim on an executive development initiative with one of our leaders in the company. Our commitment to further develop an already strong leader with this executive development process is what brought us together. I was particularly pleased with the approach that Jim took in several phases of the year long engagement. Initially, a very thorough and robust 360 feedback was carried out, and the critically detailed analysis and review of the output is what guided the structure of the executive development plan. The development plan that was crafted was crystal clear about the areas of focus and desired outcome of each module within. From the onset, I had the opportunity to sit in most of the development sessions and participate in the discussions., I saw Jim's work first hand. His intense listening skills, his experiential knowledge was invaluable in each session...along with the recommended readings, well discerned homework and action plans. He has a great way and approach to stretch his client's thinking in a professional, yet challenging and meaningful way. I was pleased with the engagement with Jim, and we have seen intended and sustained results. I met Jim a number of years ago when he was providing Leadership Coaching for the executive team at the company where I worked at the time. We all participated in his program and in my view, it provided tremendous value to the organization. Jim’s program was structured and challenging, in that if you fully participated, it uncovered important areas that were opportunities for growth.
