Bio
Malcolm Wallace
I have worked with Jimena Clarke in the School of Earth Sciences, University of Melbourne. Jimena worked as an academic support officer. Jimena gave an outstanding level of support to the lecturing staff. She quickly mastered all of the complex administrative systems of the university and was always able to rapidly complete tasks that were asked of her. She went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions in order to help lecturing staff. Many previous staff put into that position have found it difficult to master the administrative systems of the university. The fact that Jimena Clarke was able to so quickly and efficiently complete complex tasks is due to her tremendous work ethic, high level of initiative and adaptability, and exceptional intellectual ability. Moreover, she has a very amiable personality and this allows her to work in teams and as a team builder. Jimena’s honesty and integrity are also exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough of Jimena Clarke and she will be greatly missed by all. Her position at the university was only lost because of the financial situation that the University of Melbourne finds itself in due to Covid.. I would 100% recommend Jimena Clarke to any employer. I am happy to provide a more detailed reference for Jimena if required. Associate Professor Malcolm Wallace School of Earth Science, University of Melbourne
