I have known Jim for many years. We actually started out as cub reporters together, both covering the Johnson City city hall beat. Then I got to go "on the other side" and work with him when I was a PR person and he was reporting on companies I represented. Jim always strives for accuracy and works to get both sides of the story. I have also known Jim and his family as upstanding members of the community. Most recently he was instrumental in establishing a Kiwanis Park in Erwin that was built with special needs children in mind. Jim will succeed in whatever he does.
