provided phone support for Win95/Win98, my ability empathize with customers and to resolve problems quickly, got me promoted to the escalation team (tier 2). Resolving problems the Tier 1 engineers could not resolve, and satisfying troubled customers. In 5 years of Microsoft support, in follow up surveys I only had 2 that came back with less then “very satisfied”, the highest option available. I stayed with Spectrum through the transition from US based support until enough offshore Tier 1 engineers could be trained and promoted to Tier 2 support. Show less
