Created a comprehensive plan to create Cub Scout Packs in Bridgeport. The plan was well received and resulted in a $10,000 gift. Created Cub Scout Pack for underprivileged children by partnering with the Rotary Club of Stamford. The Rotary Club provided volunteers to run the unit and a grant to purchase uniforms and handbooks.Identified need for financial education for low income teens. I recruited a former hedgefund manager to run a Financial Explorer Post at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford. The Explorers are taught about investing in stocks, bonds, real estate and currency trading. The program also covers personal budget planning and student loans.Partnered with the Joint Apprenticeship Training Directors Committee of Connecticut (JATDCC) to run the Building Trades Merit Badge Workshop. The JATDCC provided professional instructors to teach the Welding, Carpentry, Metal Working, Painting, Electricity and Labor History merit badges at their state of the art training facility in Meriden.

Designed a “stakeholder event” for major donors using information from the 2014 US Trust Study of High Net Worth Philanthropy. Highlights include providing opportunities to become more involved with Operation Hope beyond a donation, understanding how the donors interests match with funding priorities and how often they can be contacted.Developed and implemented a two-part email campaign using Constant Contact to open a new pipeline for younger donors. The first email effort achieved a 53% open rate the click rate for the second email campaign was more than 10%.Designed a “Thank You” party that would provide opportunities for the board members to interact and personally thank the volunteers and increase volunteer participation with Operation Hope.
