As a former college basketball player at the University of Iowa, I was very familiar with Coach Winter’s “Triple Post” offense. In addition, I assisted developing and tracking practice plans during the basketball season. I also reviewed scouting reports of future basketball games with Long Beach State. Coach Winter was later hired by Phil Jackson with the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers to run their Triple Post Offense.
