  I began as a teacher consultant in the FamilyLink Program in 2004. I sought a full time position at McMurray teaching Math around 2006 and taught Science as well for a year before transitioning back to FamilyLink as a full time teacher consultant in 2010 where I have been since. I work with families that choose to take a large role in educating their children with the support of the district which provides supervision and resources. Students benefit from the opportunities to participate in classes, individualized curriculum, and access to district services and special education. Families who are successful in our program maintain or exceed grade level standards in core subjects and can easily matriculate back into the regular schools when families choose to leave the program. We serve K-12 and share students with the middle school and high school. Show less
