Full P&L responsibility including HR, Finance and Accounting, Laboratory, Imaging, Rehabilitation, Marketing, Patient Care and IS. Planned and executed the demerger of a multispecialty medical group and creation of a new 26 physician multispecialty group practice with a freestanding ambulatory surgery center as an affiliate 501 © 3 within a newly created regional integrated healthcare delivery system. Developed Managed Care strategy and negotiated provider and facility contracts; instrumental in becoming cash flow positive by month two of operation. Recruited 65 physicians and providers to support growth while adding 8 clinics and adding and expanding programs and services. Current system comprised of 12 Clinics, 533 FTEs with 90 plus FTE physicians. Developed growth strategy that built awareness and utilization. Visits increased from 180,000 to 440,000 while increasing patient satisfaction and employee engagement. Partnered with local businesses to provide services directly to employees encouraging preventive services and screening utilization while producing benefits for both parties. Incorporated patient follow up system; this mindset was embraced by the physician team and led to an increase in wellness follow-up. Specialty referral appointment compliance and preventive and Cancer screening improved markedly along with other procedures and visits. Clinic system uses a fully integrated EMR since 2000 and leverages technology to enhance services. Clinics recognized as a Superior Performer by MGMA. Show less
