$20B company. Working in the R&D Division, my team and I were the market and consumer side of the new product development process. We conducted all market research, generated a foundational consumer view of target customers through this research as well as consumer segmentation and product segment modeling. We conducted endless competitive analyses, staying on top of new industry trends in product design across multiple competitive segments. This work was then condensed into the creation of new product definitions which were utilized by engineering and design teams in North American and in Japan. Products such as the Miata, the MX-6, 929 and the Millenia (sp intended) are some examples of this work. Finally, we worked with the North American sales and marketing teams on pricing models and go to market strategy for all vehicles. Show less
