Jilyian Kelly is one of the most intelligent, tenacious, and creative people I know. As part of her cohort at Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management, I got to work with Ms. Kelly on a personal basis. Early on, she demonstrated traits that made her stand out among peers. Traits like being well-organized, accommodating, charismatic, and hard working. I realized right away that Ms. Kelly is the kind of person who is going places and willing to lead others along the way with her. As I worked alongside Ms. Kelly as her team lead for three classes, I witnessed her excel at everything she did. Moreover, she stepped up and helped push our team to victory. Her energy and drive is unmatched. She continuously volunteered to take on the hardest tasks and worked vigorously to solve any problem that confronted her. She challenged others to think holistically and often came up with innovative solutions to class projects. Ms. Kelly is sharp-witted and able to executive decisively in tactical situations. Whenever the team was faced with an overwhelming problem in school, Ms. Kelly was the go-to person for ideas and solutions. Most importantly, she was extremely dependable and would work such problems to resolution. Ms. Kelly provided expert solutions with an artistic flare that is centered in a great understanding of the market and customer. Outside of having exceptional business and management knowledge, she possesses skills in research and quantitative analysis. In fact, for most of our class projects, Ms. Kelly developed and drove the marketing elements to completion. Lastly, she works well under pressure and does not get distracted from accomplishing her goals. Ms. Kelly is a passionate and productive leader who takes pride in her work and the success of her team. Her personality is magnetic, optimistic, and light-hearted which makes getting along with her very easy. Added, she has strong communication and negotiation skills that make her ideal in a customer-facing role or presenting a case in front of a boardroom. Simply put, Jilyian Kelly is a top-tier highly-qualified professional that I would strongly recommend for any company.
