Collect batches from the Accounting Department, such as Charges, Journal Entries, and Receipts & Monthly Postings. Batches are sorted in numerical order and each document is scanned. After each document is scanned numerical data is entered. I receive Property documents that are filed accordingly into the Records & Information Center which I managed on a daily basis. I organized the information center; created folders & labels, charts & graphs for the Properties & Tenants. In the Accounts Payable Department; there are large amount of checks issued to vendors, properties, property managers, contractors, etc., that I prepared & distributed twice a week. I verified each check by account number, the dollar amount, vendor number, vendor name, and the correct address. Each check is sent out with all the correct remit slips sent by regular USPS or by FEDEX. After this process, I then scanned copies of the checks with the corresponding invoices. Clarify and verify property and vendor names along with the correct address in particular software. Treasury Assistant - I balanced over fifty separate accounts daily, pulling the previous balances from the bank statements using an online service. Verified all new vendors with imputing their business information, including bank account number and routing number. I assisted with Bank reconciliations, cash management and also scanning every document into the database. Show less
