Jill has not only been a mentor throughout the years but also a friend that has inspired and encouraged me by not only coaching me with relationships management as well as the correlation between relationships and direct census enhancement. The many ideas that that Jill brings regarding

Jill was one of the instructors at the WHCA A+ Training that I attended in 2012 in Seatac. She was very enthusiastic, smart and witty with her training. She was well organized and answered all of our questions in a fun and positive manner. She is also well known for her photography skills and her ability to capture moments, and document them appropriately for others to see. I have followed her on multiple social media accounts and enjoy her posts and pictures. Jill and I have been in touch since we first met at the WHCA training and will continue to work with each other and support one another.

The Satsop Silo ~ The Old Monte-Elma Highway I have always been drawn to beautiful architecture, old structures and history. The Satsop Silo caught my eye many years ago, but once I moved to the Satsop Valley I knew I had to find out as much as I could about this unique structure that sat close to the old highway. I began taking photos of it in the different seasons, in all types of weather and trying to capture it's beauty in the ever changing light and skies. I'm drawn to it, it talks to me, it needed to be documented. With my photos the Satsop Silo spoke to others as well. Then I was connected with the family whose father and uncle built the Silo and the other structures that once stood there......why was this structure left? Why were the others torn down? The story began to come together.....over coffee around the dining table of another Satsop historian I was able to meet with the ladies who grew up in, around and with the Satsop Silo. We laughed, they told their stories, we shared photographs and we became friends.....that's what the Satsop Silo does. I do not call myself a photographer, I take pictures, capture moments and hopefully document the time and my surroundings. I will continue to take photos of this structure for as long as I can and I hope those who follow this page and the photos will continue to tell me the stories, the joy the photos bring to them and share the Satsop Silo with others.
