  School Counselor for grades nine to twelve at Northern High School from 1990-1997. Helped develop the nine grade guidance curriuclum for the school district in addtion to teaching the ninth grade guidance class to all ninth grade students. Seved on Student Assistance Team, developed Career Week which included Shadow Day were over 200 students went out into the community and learned about a persons career for a day. My responsibilities included helping students college process, setting up college nights and financial nights for students and families to help, writting letters of recommendation for students. Worked and counseled with students to improve academically. Met with student individually and ran support groups for student who been in outside treatment for mental health returning to school. I follow the ASCD and MTSS model to help serve students and families to help provide support and services in addtion to truama informed practices, career and accademic support along with career and accademic services as well.
