I had particular experience in developing apprenticeship opportunities in the creative and digital media sector. As well as monitoring learning delivery, I promoted opportunities for funding assistance, and administrated co-investment in individuals and organisations for entry-level learning and career-long CPD. I strengthened UK industry networks by working in close partnership with practitioners at all levels and their trade organisations, advisers and training providers. To achieve full membership compliance I regularly presented at meetings across the UK to enrol all corporate members. I worked in partnership with agency Training Managers, managing a CPD Working Party and a Training Forum, and acting as Secretary to the Professional Development Group in order to engage members. I recruited and led a team to administrate the annual accreditation process and assess submissions, continuously maintaining an active dialogue and visiting IPA members. As the scheme became well established, I oversaw the introduction of a Higher Level Gold Accreditation Standard, raising best practice standards even higher. Other achievements included: • managing a biennial Excellence in CPD competition • event management of all aspects of the IPA Annual Training Conference • co-authoring a handbook on Best Practice in Agency Professional Development
