  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients – answering questions, providing accurate and timely information and being available as needed. • Assess damage of loss by gathering information; determine loss and process claims to meet deadlines. • Perform field inspections, read maps and aerial photos and measure storage bins. • Maintain a working knowledge of RMA’s rules and regulations, AIP’s procedures and of crop insurance handbooks. • Meticulously maintain records for all claims, setting a team standard for documentation and file management • Prioritize workload and claim submissions in a way that all tasks are completed thoroughly and on time. • Assist with the training of new team members, helping them acquire the knowledge and skills needed to be proficient in their role. • Readily volunteer for travel opportunities that benefit the overall team, examples include nursery inspections in South Florida, pecan inspections in Georgia, and pistachio inspections in California. • Committed to personal development, participating in all recommended learning opportunities – technical and skill-based. • Leverage technology throughout the claims process, looking for opportunities to make processes more efficient.
