  My duties included the day-to-day running of the office. Answering the telephone, taking messages and organising appointments for the sale of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories etc. Advising potential customers when they came into the showroom/office regarding the buying of windows and doors. Working out quotations, using a bespoke programme supplied by the frame fabricator, for installation or supply only jobs. Reading the survey sheets and ordering the frames, glass and any ancillaries needed. Meeting with suppliers regarding purchase prices of goods and/or services. Liaising with customers for the installation of jobs, organising paperwork including producing sales invoices. Checking deliveries, delivery notes, prices and all purchase invoices. Daily bookkeeping, Wages (using PAYE basic tools), bank reconciliation, paying suppliers and VAT. Show less
